Why is Jake Gyllenhaal so damn likable? Are those really elementals? Is it all a projection he's doing to be a hero? Should we take what he said at face value? Did they really consider this earth the 616 version? Very curious to find out but I can't help agreeing with pete that it's ridiculous they're using this kid for what's going on when there's literally a hundred heroes in that cheesy endgame screenshot where they all pose for the final battle. Second teaser was also good. First off it's still weird that the skrulls are being portrayed as the... good guys? (still not sure about that but we'll roll with it) but it was pretty funny of an idea for the shape shifter to be duped by shape shifting, that was some hilariously delicious irony. They can't have spiderman be a kid forever, but I'm glad they got someone who actually looks like a kid this time instead of a near 30 year old last time. Although 16 is still way too young for spiderman, I would have preferred him being at least a senior in high school for the first movie, and then going through college in the second (they could still do the europe trip in college, and it would make more sense too).
