Whoever installed this one piece shower can kiss my ass. I was forced to cut into the back of the wall because it was installed with some kind of hardened mortar instead of putty behind the handles and then they BOXED IN THE FAUCET WITH 2X4s. It wasnt a load-bearing wall but that was a bitch and a half

Plumbers wanted $2000 + so I said fuck that

PITA to fix but you saved yourself 1700$ at least :( it's quite an achievement.

I just replaced my kitchen faucet cause the last one was so cheap it rusted out in 2 years...$170 new faucet

Same week my bathroom drain clogged way down the line, $315 for a plumber to roll in and say he probably damaged the lines snaking it

this doesn't bode well at all. they'll have to get under the ground somehow to fix pipe/pipes in future just hope it's later and not soon.

This. When I saw the title I was like "just in damages it should run double that if you found it a few minutes after it happened" because plumber prices.
