Im happily contented with my PS2 slim and I was wondering if Sony can make PS2 versions of PS3/PS4 games. There should be a peripheral accessory that should be made to upgrade my PS2 slim. Ive had that PS2 since 2003 and it hasnt failed yet.

I found a way you can Play Persona 5 On it if you're into JRRGs. You need to get a specially modified disk for it, though. Luckily I found a source that mods the disks. Here you go: https://www.amazon.com/Shin-Megami-Tensei-Persona-PlayStation-2/dp/B001C6GVI6

School should teach you how to adult instead of how to solve for x.
I got no clue how to adult but I sure as hell can figure out what x is in 7x = 4 + 27 X 8.

meanwhile everybody expects the next crysis to be playable on their $500 best buy prebuilt from 2010 and if it doesn't work, PC automatically sucks for gaming.

You just have to connect it to another PS2 via ethernet because 2 + 2 = 4.

Don't listen to these folks, they don't know what they're talking about.

All PlayStation models are both forward and backward compatible. Sony doesn't care too much about backwards compatibility, but they don't really want people using the forward compatibility, so they took some measures to make it harder to do. With each new PlayStation series, the thickness of the discs increases by a fraction of a millimeter. The disc thicknesses are x+yz, where x = the base thickness, y = the PlayStation series, and z = the fraction of a millimeter. So obviously if you try to put a PS4 disc (size x+4z) in your PS2 system, which is expecting size x+2z it won't fit right and you could actually damage your PS2 system or scratch the disc really badly. The PS2 slim was sort of an odd series that had a lot of problems, including overheating. Sony took a weird approach with it and made its size multiplier 2.25, so it's actually expecting size x+2.25z disc. They did this so it would be backwards compatible with all PS2 games but so they could also have the ability to release "PS2 Slim ONLY" games as well.

Fortunately, there are companies out there that make devices that will buff down the discs to the right size so they fit in the previous consoles. I personally use the JFJ Easy Pro to buff my discs down to the right size: https://www.amazon.com/JFJ-Universal-Blu-Ray-Machine-Repairs/dp/B00SU6UZTW/

Now, since you have a PS2 Slim and since they have overheating problems, you're probably going to want to get a heat sink and some thermal paste to put on top of your console. The graphics card has to work super hard to down-convert the graphics on the PS4 games, so if you don't have a heat-sink, you're basically asking for a melted PS2 Slim or worse, one that starts on fire. I melted my first PS2 Slim and lost my copy of Killzone Shadow Fall because I didn't have a heat sink (RIP/F/etc), so I seriously recommend a heat sink. I personally use two Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evos https://www.amazon.com/Cooler-Master-Hyper-Direct-Contact/dp/B005O65JXI/ mounted straight on top of the case with the fans pointing in opposite directions and with some ARCTIC MX-4 - Thermal Compound Paste https://www.amazon.com/ARCTIC-MX-4-Compound-Micro-particles-Durability/dp/B0795DP124/ between the heat sink and the case. It actually runs at room temperature with those babies on top.

Anyway, best of luck and welcome to the world of never having to upgrade to another console!

You just need more memory, so you need a TB hard drive and an adapter to plug it in to your PS2. Once you have that you're good to go!
