Just finished Azure and playing the final chapter essentially 20 hours straight because I was determined to finish it today....even if we're already a few hours into tomorrow.

Final time on that one is 82 hours total and now I'm all caught up in time for when CS3 is out. Wasn't sure if I'd ever get here, but finally I did it. I'll probably do a replay of the PS4 version of CS2 closer to release using the speed boost.

So many huge things happen in AzureI really can't see how anyone can go into Cold Steel 3 without playing this game first (and obviously Zero before it). If CS3 is the equivalent of Infinity War then Azure was like the first Avengers. Everything that happened in TitS seems small time compared to where we're at now going into CS3.

Highly disagree.

CS2 spoils the hell out of Azure and Azure barely spoils CS2 at all.

The only thing that Azure really spoils for CS is the ending of CS1, and only generally- it doesn't spoil the real twist about Crow.

Also there are a lot of call'backs' (sides?) in Cold Steel you can only catch with having played the Crossbell games first that make some scenes mean more.

But right at the end they're like oh ya Osbourne's alive and he beat down the nobles and hey crossbell is now fucked!

I don't consider those as big of spoilers as Dieter (and by extension Mariabell) being a villain.

Cold Steel 1/2 really isn't about the politics of Erebonia, imo. It's about Rean and Class 7's story, and how those events effect them, whereas Azure is the opposite- its about how the SSS shapes and impacts Crossbell and the nations around them with their actions.

Well I mean I don't play PC games so pretty much no option but to go into CSIII with only 1 and 2 on the books.
