Killing innocents is morally grey if you planned to kill them later apparently and it was more convenient to kill them now.

"It's not morally evil to orchestrate an assasination on Claude and Dimitri because she was planning on killing them later! It's easier to kill them when they trust her than it will be when she attacks their countries unprovoked!"

Siding with literal demon monsters to kill innocent people is actually morally grey because she plans on killing all her monster allies after she kills all the innocent people who stand in her way of world domination.

Thinks Rhea is a meanie for killing people who attack the church so she decides to kill thousands and destroy two-thirds of Fodlan because they oppose her "ideals." Her ideals being that she should be the ruler of the world.

Makes sense.
