CTLM 09/18/19 6:39:09 PM #2:	I don't know anyone personally who owns the XBOX1. Everyone has a switch and/or ps4. There just wasn't enough reasons to buy the system. Xbox one wasnt as successful as ps5 but still hardly a failure. I thought it was funny that he called uncharted 4 a groundbreaking title though. Tbh sony didnt do much more than microsoft on the innovation front. Sounds mostly like an opinion piece but the first half of the video was accurate. Add good B/C with favorite 360 and OG games and the choice is obvious. My son bought his family an X1 for Christmas, so it's fun for me to play multiplayer with him and my grandkids 300 miles away. My PS3 plays all the Sony exclusives I want, plus serving as an external hard drive for my Vita and PSP, functionality the PS4 abandoned. A PS4 for one lonely Gran Turismo update? Bulbasaur 09/18/19 7:43:32 PM #9:	the ps4 kicking the shit out of the xbox this gen has been incredibly good for xbox. backwards compatibility with all gens of xbox? fuck yes. and the scarlett is going to be BC with both games and accessories? this is a wonderful thing. cross play? there are literally no downsides to it, and it's a positive for every single person. the idiots who think it's a bad thing are, well, fucking idiots. gamepass? holy shit this is one of the best things for video games, full stop. it's the netflix of games. sony tried something similar with psnow, but that was a commercial and critical flop. xcloud? yeah, it's streaming, but it's streaming off of the azure servers. arguably one of the best, if not the best, server farms in the world. the only company that can compete with them is google, and oh look, they're doing a streaming console now. but the fact you can take your entire library of games, and play them anywhere in the world, near lag free? fuck dude. you could do something similar with the ps4 if you have a vita, but it was, uh, shit. it's neat for in-home stuff, but trying to play over a network connection is a bad time. and, plus, it was limited to just a vita. what has sony done this gen to better gaming for everyone? nothing. in fact, they tried to stop crossplay, which is ridiculous. edit: also it caused the creation of the 1x, which is absurd in its strength. and the elite controller, which is so tasty. are the first party games kinda ass? you bet. gears 4 was gross (though 5 is really good), halo 5 was halo 5. it had solid gunplay, great visuals, and the best halo multiplayer since 2, but the story went to shit. forza is forza, you can't really complain about it but it's not my style. you have rares thing, which is whatever. ect. you know the story. --- i'm in disguise <cite>Bulbasaur posted [p:927631039] in The Fall o... That said, it was lacking in maps at launch and some of the forge shit they passed off as maps was a slap in the face. But they made some cool maps later on. Sony grabbed the golden opportunity Microsoft graciously handed them and succeeded with the PS4 as a result. Either way, there are tons of professional halo players too. They've had a bunch of huge tournaments so maybe you aren't paying attention. But yeah, a lot of the pro halo 2 and 3 players think those are the best. You know why? Because they were pros at those games so of course that's what they think. And then Sony dropped the ball with PSNow, Microsoft has local backwards compatibility, and the Xbox One X ports trounce the PS4 Pro ports.
