Current Events > Just took in a rescue foster dogs for 4 months until she can be sent to Sweden.

She is a 2 year old Poodle. Wasn't treated well by her previous owners and was abandoned (looks like a lot of her whiskers were burned or cut off). The rescuer had too many dogs in their small apartment and couldn't keep her any longer so they needed a foster until the end of January. She goes for her blood test in early October. Once that is done there is a 90 day wait before she can be shipped out of the country. Has a family waiting for her there.

Her Chinese name was Ruhua but the rescuer said she doesn't answer it to it so we could call her whatever. Asked my 3 year old daughter what we should name her and she instantly replied with "Dora". So her name is now Dora apparently.
