Eastbound and Down, vice principals, righteous gemstones. All solid fucking gold

Yeah hes a genius but I think it also has a lot to do with the other writer / directors Jody Hill and David Gordon Green. Those guys are incredible, they have such a great chemistry together with McBride. I hope they never stop making HBO shows.

Havent seen the newest episode of Gemstones yet but Ill watch it tonight. The show is amazing though, just as good as VP and Eastbound

I was just reading that HBO renewed Gemstones for a second season last week. Danny McBride has said that if he has his way, he wants it to run much longer than the two shows before it. He wants to make a giant sprawling epic about this whole big family and that this season is only chapter one.

That gets me really excited, since I was really upset to see Vice Principals end so early

Oh hell yeah. I saw that it got renewed but I didnt hear about the rest. I too was really disappointed that vice principals ended so early. I remember hearing that a lot of people didnt like it but they're fucking nuts. It was awesome
