What's so humiliating about it? It's humiliating if you ran away or pissed your pants but getting knocked out isn't humiliating. I have never been knocked out btw but I have been punched in the face for real many times back in school. Never been in a brutal fight. Never shed blood etc... I always used to think it would have been cool to fight covered in blood.

Just once, when I was a kid. I was pressured into starting a fight with a fat kid, and I felt so bad doing it that I was kinda paralyzed with shame, and he put me down from a full nelson.
