So I bought:
Watchmen V for Vendetta The Killing Joke The Dark Knight Returns The Sandman I loved Watchmen. It felt like I entered a whole new world, and I loved the intermission components (news articles, etc.). I didnt like the Black Freighter story, though. I loved The Killing Joke and I wish it were longer Im currently reading The Dark Knight Returns but I dont like it too much left. Also the tiny TV screens with text above is a bit hard to follow. The formatting... doesnt seem good. And I dont like the art style too much. Too washed out, I think. Im confused as to why people love it. I want to start The Sandman. I bought the first volume and the cover art looks crazy good, like wow. I have no idea what its about though lol --- i.imgur.com/mkGoWsg.jpg i.imgur.com/mkGoWsg.jpg i.imgur.com/mkGoWsg.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

Y: The Last Man is amazing. Track down every issue and read it.
They're way less known, but I also recommend Runoff and Eric by Tom Manning. Each are around 400 pages so you only have to buy volume each, and they're both incredibly original, entertaining, and often hilarious stories. Runoff in particular is about as postmodern as a graphic novel gets. --- *runs out of topic naked* ... Copied to Clipboard!
