 In US news and current events today, Republicans in North Carolina attempted to trick Democrats into missing a key vote on the state budget by scheduling it during a 9/11 ceremony. The ceremony commemorated the September 11 attack on the Twin Towers at NYC's World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and Flight 93.
