I forgot what the point of it was besides supporting the streamers. They've essentially replaced my hulu subscription because id rather watch them as they were more entertaining. But after awhile, I've come to conclude that I was just another subber to them and nothing more. When volume grows, I think streamers forget about their long time subbers... I mean they get mentioned but once every month but that's it then chat just takes full control of the stream instead of individuals.

Not gonna say who, but I subbed them from the days they only had a couple hundred views and now are pulling in 1K+ daily.

If you want twitch streamers that remember you, might look into Hyper RPG. They are the ones that initially created Felicia Day's Geek and Sundry twitch. I've never subbed to them, but they've made a point to say hey to me if they see me in chat. I pretty much just watch them and Rifftrax's 24/7 streams.

You sub and support them because you're entertained by the content. You're not buying a friend simulator to fill a social gap in your life for $5 a month. It's not like any of the people on shows you watch know your name. But if you'd rather support smaller streamers I'm all for it.
