I bitch myself out in my head to deal with it. My internal monologue goes "HEY! Cut it the fuck out! There are people out there with real problems. You're being a wuss. Let it go." and then it starts easing up and I find something else to pay attention to.
It makes you feel shitty about it too.... what other condition can be treated by just talking? It makes it feel like it's not a real problem even though you know it is...and you KNOW you're annoying the doctor when he sees you and it's anxiety. All I can think is "He's thinking that he hates when people like me come in here with this shit because it's time he could be spending with someone that needs his help more." ... Copied to Clipboard!
