Because I want the best one that properly removes white board marker writing without staining the whiteboard. So I'm googling reviews and looking for best brands online. For something as simple and seemingly inconsequential as a whiteboard eraser.

Back in the day you'd just go to the store and buy something and come back home. Whatever wasn't in that store near you, tough.

That's less about the eraser and more about the board I think. Leaving the marker on there too long.

Normally I use whatever eraser is around, and then at the end of the day I spray down with whiteboard cleaner (or probably even just some low% rubbing alcohol) and use a rag to clean it that way.

I doubt any white board eraser is going to be better than that.

I hate this shit, lol. Probably 90% of what's out there is good enough to get the job done, but I almost obsessively search high and low to make sure I'm getting what's objectively the best out there (or at least the best for the price).

I don't want to waste my money, but I definitely feel like I've wasted a lot of my time instead of just going for something and moving on.

Omg right? That's exactly what I'm thinking. And then I still end up getting buyer's remorse (even for little things) so it's like I may as well not do the whole process of googling for every little thing.
