I really like how they advanced the 360 Modena to the F430 and the now leader 458. To me they kept that one concept "retro" for me. The Maranello to the 599 style has been great too.

I dunno, the Ferrari 250 gto, 70s- 80s Datsuns, long nose vettes of the same era, and the gorgeous e- jag. Those were beautiful cars

Edit: the Alfa 33 stradale is possibly the best (for me)

Well hell that's hardly a comparison...I guess I'm trying to move the goal post of "retro" but yeah those to me are classics.

The cheapest Ferrari starts at $250,000 and these are likely to be limited run.

A 488 Pista went for $400,000 a couple years back so they'll start around that or higher.

If it makes you feel better, even if you could afford a Bugatti, there's a very high chance you wouldn't be able to get one of these. If they do end up being limited production, the buyer lists for those cars often require you to be a longtime multiple Ferrari owner since they hand select who can and can't buy them.

Back in Scottsdale people were buying and trading them like Camaros.Depends on where you go.For me I'd rather build a new house and pond for that money.

Uh...I rather doubut that. I think you're getting the Pista confused with the regular 488. I live near Van, and yeah those get flipped like crazy, but the Pista was a wait list car and it's price has only increased.

Ah, makes sense. Had a friend who lived in rich Quebec with similar stories. Stuff like this tends to show up there:

https://www.autotrader.ca/a/ferrari/250/mont-royal/quebec/5_42203587_20150812092118987/?showcpo=ShowCpo&ncse=no&orup=1_15_357&pc=V9T%203B6&sprx=-1

Vancouver on the other hand is more students from Russia and China switching from Lambo, to McLaren, to Ferrari bi-weekly, so the special editions are rare on this side of the country since flipping them that fast would be stupid even for a billionaire's son.

I always liked the heavy look those had, but the chassis always said otherwise. Very cool

Cars like the Ariel Atom and BAC Mono are road legal despite being no-windshield track cars.

I worry more about some of these 700+ HP behemoth cruise ships coming out of the American companies and FCA then I do a likely limited run vintage inspired Ferrari that will probably get driven once a month, if that by it's multil millionaire wait list owner.

Edit: Upon another glance at the article these might be track exclusive anyway, so good call.

Okay, looked into them.
So they are basically harkening back to the old 1950's body designs.
Also this was last year, and though I didn't watch the race, I saw nothing of them from Monza this year.

Cool, but I'll never have the money for one. I still love those 488's though.
