So long as animals exist that are physically capable of killing and eating you, then no.

I would say that since we could eat any animal we want, it's the natural conclusion. A tiger might be able to eat you if you fuck up, but if we wanted to eat tiger meat exclusively, they'd be fucked.

Seeing as were the most advanced species and thus have guns, armor, the ability to work together, domesticate animals to serve us and make intelligent plans of attack Id say so. Its that intelligence that carries us. Just as wolves know to stay with a pack as its way harder for them alone. We didnt get by via punching everything in the face.

Give enough humans enough sharp sticks, and they could wipe out any land based apex predators.

And I'd say that's good.

There's talk of trying to bring back the wooly mammoth. That's fucking insane. Ever seen a video of a pissed off elephant?

All apex predators can be killed under the right conditions; that still doesn't mean that they lose their number 1 spot just because they fucked up or were overwhelmed in the fight however many times it happened.

Easily the most magnificent animals on earth.

lmao just came to post this. Some villagers beat a tiger to death with sticks. Even primitive humans were at the top of the chain, primitive ranged weapons, laying out traps, ambush techniques etc.

It's not wrong and anyone who thinks it is I will consider eating.

Also tc acting like I wouldn't eat tiger.

We're the animal that has to willingly hold itself BACK from eating certain others, lest they go extinct.
Yes we are the top.

Its pretty much the definition of arrogance.

That doesn't mean its not correct, but it is a needlessly self-important realization.

How fucking scary is that? Humans can do that

This, and to answer TC's question, no it isn't. Humans are on top of the "food chain", unless there's some animal that normally prays on humans, I can't thinks of one.
