Every time I mentioned wanting the newest Zelda game, she would say "I thought you already had Zelda."

Each time I told her the same thing. "They all have different stories."

Then when the next one was released she would say the same thing. "I thought you already had Zelda."

Thinking about it still pisses me off. She's not even stupid, usually. Why couldn't she understand this?

Cause she's just a dumb slut who should get your juice boxes and not ever talk.

My mom was actually the one who got me into Zelda. And she's not even a gamer. She bought me a GCN for Christmas when I was 10 and had no idea what she was doing, so she asked the GameStop clerk about what games to get and he recommended the Zelda Collector's Edition and Mario Kart: Double Dash!!

That was the moment I fell in love with Zelda. The Wind Waker I received a year later just cemented that fact. I still have both games and the system. :)

As far as my mom is concerned, even the PS4 is the "new Nintendo"

My mom loved the first few Zelda games. (She never could get into Ocarina of Time.)

She was also a big Final Fantasy fan and beat an imported copy of FFIX without knowing a word of Japanese. (With help from GameFAQs.)
