I was buying a pack of crystals geyser water bottles today and found 24 packs for $2.99 and 40 packs for $5.99 for the same exact bottle size. The employee that was stocking up on bottles told me that the 40 packs were flying off the shelf were more cheaper than the 24 packs which were fully stocked.

I argued that the 24 packs is actually cheaper because you'd be wasting 8 bottles if I had bought 2 24 packs for the same price. He said not if you just wanted 40 packs for double the price......

Wut

Yeah it's cheaper for sure going with 24 bottles for $3, two cases is 48 for $6 opposed to 40 for 6$

That guy is a moron.

Usually it's the opposite. A 2 liter bottle costs more than buying 4 * 500mls

Employee is stupid

In this thread, we discover that people who stock grocery store shelves for a living might not be on par with mathematics professors.
