Every time I go somewhere new I have to go to the Walmart (either that or the nearest shopping mall) to see if they have anything different. Im ashamed.

Pissed me off when my local Wal-Mart started using the same layout as the Wal-Mart 30 miles away.

When I left home for college the first thing I had my parents do was drive to the Walmart in my college town, just to make sure I wasnt going to be stuck in the middle of nowhere

Some also have arcades while some don't. I think i only seen 1 with a McDonalds, the rest have been Subway.

I dont know what this snark-filled no substance argument above me is trying to achieve, but it's been documented that Walmart kills off small local businesses that can't compete with them and they pay their employees like shit and the only reason it's not worse is because they were pressured by the likes of Costco

Anyway I don't care though because I like Walmart except those slow ass DC area ones

I tried arguing with my sister that Id never work there because of the way they treat employees and she told me one of her best friends worked at a Walmart and it was the best job shes ever had.

I mean I thought Frys Electronics was a great job too when I worked there. Decent pay for me at the time, no work drama other than the occasional customer

After having the job I currently have there's no way in hell I would go back there even if I won the lottery, quit, and a few years later was looking for a way to pass some time with a sense of purpose in between coke and hooker parties

So is amazon. But people aren't just shopping at amazon and walmart for no reason. They're shopping there cause it's usually cheaper. They've both astonishingly been the only businesses to have possibly rolled back inflation in history.

Im not saying they dont have faults but if you shop at either to get a better price you really need to shut up. You're a walking contradiction

I hate Walmart. Spoiled milk, shopping aisles closed for no reason, few if any checkout aisles open, no staff available for assistance. I put up with them because of the convenience, but will generally opt for alternatives if nearby. Which unfortunately is not the case in rural Texas.
