Use proper forms. There shouldn't be any comtinuous neck pains. First timer, okay, you muscles are adjusting, but if it is multiple times with the same routine or weight, go consult a trainer or doctor

You really need to get form checked to avoid chronic problems - you don't want to mess around with your neck.

Additionally, yoga helps for me.
