I went years ago but it got me more depressed because the building had sections that were separated by code locked doors and it made me feel worse like i was a possible violent person so i just left and never went back. Kinda, yeah. I have been stuck doing a dead-end security job for over the past decade, got a bachelor degree which didn't get me very far, so I started my own (not so successful) business in that field.
After actively applying for jobs for over a year, I finally got hired for an entry-level traineeship. Pay will be shit for the first year, but it least it will get me the experience required for more profitable prospects. At home I have a girlfriend who is often stressed, tired, depressed and spends a lot of time in bed. We live in a shitty neighbourhood, don't have the income right now to move to a better one, and our sex life has been shit for the past year and a half. I'd have broken up with her by now if I had the money to live on my own. I still get along with her better than with my parents or the average housemate I've had, so that's my main reason to stay with her for now. It's far from ideal, but I realize there's still the potential to grow and move on to better things. That's what keeps me going. On top of that, I try not to read the news / social media comment sections too much, to prevent becoming more pessimistic. --- One time, CE triggered me so hard with their objectively wrong opinions that I accidentally punched myself in the balls. ...
