Like yeah the number definitely increases. But being that while youre in battle, enemies you kill yield a low amount of health when your health is high, and a lot of health when your health is low, is it kind of unnecessary to invest points in it in the early game since the Game kind of keeps your health balanced while in battle anyway?

makes you less susceptible to suddenly dying from a large amount of damage coming your way I guess?

Not necessarily an illusion, especially for high damage single hit sort of attacks.

But generally I do find ammo upgrades to be the most useful.
