That's a good question I think right now I would prefer fire rate and ammo capacity. I do regret buying a rifle and scope as it's been pretty much useless so far but maybe it'll come in handy later

I always upgrade capacity and fire power first, but don't bother upgrading any of the earlier guns you have, unless you really want to keep on using them throughout the game, it's a waste of money

And don't bother using fish for healing, the game gives you plenty of healing items and fish are a waste of inventory space, you can sell them but won't get much for them, you can shoot the crows for money drops as well btw

Keep in mind that you can also upgrade ammo capacity in a bind if you're super low on ammo and can't find anything as the upgrade gives you a full magazine of bullets.

Nope, no item storage system... but as you've probably already seen by this point... there is a way to upgrade the size of your carrying case. It gets significantly larger by the time you get the final size upgrade for it.

Part of the fun (or drawback, depending on how you look at it) of that game is managing your inventory.

Yeah... if you wanna get rid of it that badly.. just sell it back to any merchant so you at least get a little something from it.

Ngl reading this made me dig out my Ps4 in over a year, buy it and start playing. Played so many runs on GCN and Wii that I know where every nook and cranny, every enemy, every secret is.

Yeah there were defo times I had to take advantage of this lol!

Also inventory space shouldn't be that much of an issue, just be sure to upgrade the size of the case as soon as you get the option. And if you aren't using the rifle and scope then just sell them, I don't bother buying stocks / scopes for guns, they're also a waste of inventory space and I got on fine without them

You can mix herbs to free up some space too, especially green + yellow as that combo will increase your overall health a little - you can sell the grenades as well if you're still stuck for space, but as someone already mentioned hold onto the flash ones if you can, they will come in handy later on

Yeah flash nades are the best imo (blinds enemies, kills plagas and weak creatures like snakes and crows instantly), hand grenades are good, incendiaries are meh.

The game is definitely growing on me, I really like the music and visuals on that dock where the merchant is and then after you get the key across the lake you take a boat back there again.

This game is definitely different then the original Resident Evil games but I wish I would have gave it a chance back in the day when I had my GameCube.

Glad you're liking it... you'll appreciate it even more when you eventually finish it. It's sorely underappreciated, especially these days (god I sound old LOL) The weapon upgrade system offers a satisfying feeling of progression and the characters grow on you through out.

Yep I beat the lake monster and the big tall guy that the dog was messing with. I just found Ashley and I am not looking forward to escorting her around at all

It's really not that bad, she is completely useless at defending herself though, but if an enemy grabs her, just shoot him in the legs to take him down

Ok so I just finished that shootout in the house with everyone swarming. In the heat of the battle I didn't notice all the grenades laying around so now I have 8 grenades and 1 healing herb smh

so I tried taking the left path and the chainsaw guys appeared and killed Ashley, I am already sick of escorting her. I'm gonna try the right path now and see if that's any better

You can stick her in a dumpster on the left path.

You'll have a much harder time with her on the right.

Of course the best method is to do both but that might be tricky right now.

There should also be a command to make ashley 'wait'. That way you make her stay where you know she's safe (for a shot while lol) and run ahead and kill people without her standing right next to you.

Unless you care about collecting every treasure, you don't need to bother doing both paths, the left is harder, has more enemies and as you now know, the notorious Bella Sisters who freak me out, and yeah you should have commanded Ashley to hide in a dumpster around that part - if you ever bother doing that part again, my technique is to have ashley hide out of the way, jump down into the pit, then quickly gtfo up the ladder, run away a bit and use the TMP (with upgraded capacity) on those bitches, it will knock and keep them down, then you can finish them with grenades, you will have other enemies trying to attack you while doing this but I just concentrate on killing the Bellas first

The right path has ONE enemy you've encountered before, El Gigante, the only issue here is that Ashley is in the way and he will grab her if he can, you can actually do this route without even killing him but you need to be fast coz he will pursue you through the next door and you have to get a key which might be a pain in the arse with him on your tail

IMO the chainsaw sisters are easier than the cave troll. Just stick Ashley in the dumpster and kill everything.

First time I played the game, I had about zero ammo left after the cabin fight. I had to brute force race my way past El Gigante without killing him.

When I first played, I didn't know this was possible, it was only on my second playthrough I noticed you could get through the door lol, and I just rushed through the next area and hadn't grabbed the key, so had to go back which was alright as he was still lumbering around but I was quick enough to avoid him!
