Is there... anything the game is actually good at? I mean, I bought it on Steam, probably not for much but given that I've wasted so much money on crap I'll never play or barely touched, I'd like to hope that this game might be more my cuppa tea than it was for some people.

This might make me sound like a n00b but a practically automated battle system doesn't bother me much if the game compensates for it in other ways. Music plays a pretty heavy role in my enjoyment of RPGs, as well.

Once I'm done with 9 I might go back to this game and finish off the remaining hunts. None of the other side stuff seems zomgmustdo.

I'm still surprised at how easy the final battle was.

Curious, now that I think about it: have Kingdom Hearts games used this cast of characters much, if at all? It's hard to imagine them being used to portray that 'Disney magic' and blahblah etc.

Kingdom Hearts almost exclusively uses FF characters from 7, 8, and 10.

Only exceptions I'm aware of are Setzer from 6 and Vivi from 9, and I believe they've only shown up once (Kingdom Hearts 2).
