Will I be able to do it this weekend if I play for say 12 hours total? Im starting in 1066. Also how likely is global domination on my first playthrough?

Pretty funny, William the Conqueror got imprisoned for God knows what at the very beginning of my campaign. So all of England has been Norway for me. LOL!

I've played the game for like 1500 hours and never actually finished a game all the way through to the end date. You tend to get bored and stop before that point.

Whatever happens, though, it's gonna take you a lot longer than 12 hours. It's not a weekend thing.

I don't really understand the game or real politics from that era fully, but wouldn't my goal be to build the Ireland Empire?

Ireland would be a Kingdom

Britannia is England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales

I played for like a whole night one weekend and was only able to gain control over like 3 provinces, including the one I started with.
