I would be, yes. You can deflate much of the air with the valve first if you're really scared about it though. (but don't do it. there's no reason to ruin a perfectly good tire)

Tires aren't balloons that rip by the opening as air is forced through. Tires are more rigid, and just hiss the air out.
Try putting a piece of adhesive tape on a balloon, and prick it with a needle on the tape area. It will deflate without blowing up. --- There is no "would of", "should of" or "could of". There is "would've", "should've" and "could've". ... Copied to Clipboard!
