Forgetting the ethical aspect the death penalty has not been shown to deter crime. And if this was a death penalty crime, thats not going to help root them out. If anything, itll make things worse by making them become even more cautious and possibly even driven to offend if the punishment is the same either way. Itll also become a witch hunt and the easiest way to frame others to be killed. This is not only not practical but just completely negative other than to satisfy your bloodlust and maybe have a single threat (who mightve not even been one) be stopped. --- To protect children, the elderly, and people with disabilities from abuse, neglect, and exploitation ...
