Nope, and probably never will.

Closest thing is building my first computer and played sub 1.6 Counterstrike, otherwise the 2000s was just me being a stupid and awkward teenager

i feel like less people used their phone as a social crutch back then. kind of miss that. you actually were forced to talk to the person in front of you when you were outside somewhere.

Yeah, I think it wasn't until 2011 that I noticed people checking their phones during conversations

Sometimes I think about how Runescape 2007's never going to be replicated. The game was pretty goofy and endearing but it was the playerbase at that point of time that carried it.
I know they made OSRS but it just wouldn't be the same, I'm pretty sure it'd just be a bunch of people who want to see it again even though it would never be the same organically.

I think the rest would be more like a list of grievances I have about now than things from then that actually stick out from then.

That is the main time I am nostalgic for. That's when I was in school. Born in 93 graduated in 2012. So each grade I finished in the year with the same number. 2nd grade was 2002, 1st grade was 2001, kindergarten was 2000. I watched lots of 90s cartoons when I could, but the new ones were good too. Spongebob, Samurai Jack, Ed Edd n Eddy. Courage.

I used to watch ROH shows from 2002-2003, in 2004/2005 they had DVDs at the Tower Records. The Tower Records went out of business a short while later, and I had a bad experience ordering a DVD from their website.

Yeah, I pirated a lot of it. I did buy stuff, mostly to share with friends, but waiting a month for some cheap burned DVDs at $20 a pop to come in vs. downloading it and watching immediately wasn't a hard choice. I used to drive all over PA and New Jersey to go to shows, too, that was great. I'm really happy for a lot of those guys making much more money in the WWE right now, but I just can't stay a viewer of WWE for long.

I would've loved to download, if I knew where, but I didn't have high speed internet until 2007. By then, I had lost interest in ROH.

Do you watch it at all now? It shows on the Stadium network so I've been watching for nearly a year.

Lets see...

2000 itself was still the end of 5th grade for me, so thats nostalgia territory. So a lot of the TV, games, and just specific memories from that year are nostalgic.

Toonami for those first few years of the decade was sick. Early Adult Swim was also legendary.

Nostalgic for the Dreamcast and early Xbox/PS2 games.

Then by the mid-00s I had a blast with the DIY anarcho punk scene, and MySpace made it the golden age of being in an indie or punk band, since networking and getting exposure was easier than ever.

I have plenty of fond college memories form the late 00s as well, and did a lot of exciting traveling during the last couple years of the decade.

Overall theres a lot to dislike about the 00s, but I have good memories of a lot of it anyway.

Kinda. I was in 5th grade during 2000. It was a very great year for me as I met my best friend to this day and we had fun cutting up in class.

I miss the early years because that's when I was a tween starting to become a teenager. Middle School, skateboarding, Jackass, old 90's cartoon reruns, the music still having the 90's feel for a bit, me and my best friend roaming around the neighborhood on our bikes doing dumb shit.

I kinda miss around 2007 or so. The games (Halo, Guitar Hero, and Runescape were big at the time for me), the memes, the weird culture we had on the internet. It was still kinda new then.

Those were also my partying years. Drinking and smoking and doing other things we weren't supposed to do. We were always listening to classic rock stations, so a lot of those songs are nostalgic to me. Particularly Blinded By The Light and Band on The Run for some reason. When I hear them I can't help but think back to then. Fun times.

But there's the bad I won't go into as most of it is obvious.

It's funny, back then I thought everything sucked and I missed the 90's. Now I'm pining for those times.

Back in the 2000s, I hated the 2000s. Hip hop dominating music annoyed me as a rock fan, every dude did that bleached blonde spiked hair look, everything to me felt like a generic version of what was great in the 90s, games were getting obsessed with being "dark and gritty"...but now, almost a decade later, I do miss the 2000s. I love jamming to the music now, the movies are fun to watch, etc. Still like the 90s more, though.

In the 2000s, I missed the 90s a lot but there were still vestiges of the 90s in the 2000s.

I did feel a little bit of it a few weeks ago (when the Invader ZIM movie debuted on Netflix).

I had actually been rewatching Lord of the Rings and was playing Star Fox Adventures, so I was already in sort of an early 2000s mood, and then that new ZIM movie came out which only made me feel that even more lol.
