Is it safe to take still? Some places online are saying even a decade after expiration, if stored right, they should be fine to take. Anyone have experience with this or have more knowledge?

What I read, the potency declines over time, but still maintains about 90% of the original strength.

This reminds me of the time I found a Powerade that had expired like 5 years prior, still sealed, in my garage. I made a similar post on CE and someone gave me a long story about how Powerade was originally developed as a viable option for fallout shelters and has a shelf life of over 20 years, it was designed to last in the event of a catastrophy.

So I tried it, and it was pretty bad, and then I reported back and the user was pretty much like "Oh I completely made that up, I didn't think you would actually drink it"

I don't really learn my lesson in these scenarios.
