7 years maybe?

As long as you don't sleep in them you'll be fine.

Depends on the quality.
It's rare but I've had some shirts go crappy in only a few washes. Color fades even in color safe soap. Collar or hem fold up even in cold wash and air dryer.

The average shirt should last 7-10 years. I have a few that are about 15. And a couple of special concert and sports ones that are over 20 but I never wear those anymore. Too fragile. They're just for the memory and in the back of the closet.

My have a 26 year old brown suede jacket which I still wear but sparingly. I think that's my oldest piece of clothing.

Once the underarm seams start to come out I just cut the sleeves off and wear them around the house or as bed clothes. From that point on I'll wear them until they literally fall apart since no one's going to see them anyway.

Being tall and thin I have a really hard time finding t-shirts that fit, so I try to make them last.

I don't have a specific time limit, but once tears start showing, it's time to throw them out.

Interesting.

I was looking at social media photos of me from 2 years ago with T-Shirts that I still have today, and I was thinking "Oh, I still wear those today. Should I be refreshing my T-shirts to not show these as prominently?".

And it seems like based on these posts the T-shrits have quite a bit of longevity left in them?

Don't post pictures of yourself wearing the same shirts you wore 3+ years ago. People will notice and judge the shit out of you.
