I know its a bit controversial but Ive gotten pretty good at it over the years.
My best tip for aspiring pick up artists is to always lift with your knees if the object is heavy. Not your back.
Some of the things Ive picked up in my experience include:
1. Groceries
2. A 50 lbs bag of potatoes
3. A body in a casket
4. Weights a couple of times
5. Cardboard boxes while moving
6. Patients from vehicle accidents and a few other incidents
7. After myself
8. Cats!
9. Books
10. My phone
