I've been using a Samsung S5-7 for the past 5+ years I think and I'd like a change. I'd like to use a non Samsung phone but maybe the Note is different enough and it looks like the other good option besides Samsung is Google with the Pixel. I don't want to use other phones from other companies cause they are probably worst than Samsung and Google. iPhone could be an option but they charging everything high up the ass and I'd like the best bang for the buck but not from greedy Apple.

Just buy a damned iPhone. I know, I know, fuck Apple and LOL Steve Jobs for thinking mangoes cure cancer, what a dipshit. I resisted Apple for decades, but I got an XR last month and it's really good. Shoot your dignity in the brain and buy an iPhone.

Coming from someone that owns most smartphones out, you're right. You don't really want to tread beyond Apple, Samsung and maybe Google.

Samsung didn't really get their shit straight till the S8. I personally find the S10 one of the best phones I've ever owned. Extremely capable and powerful.

So it's either a discount Pixel 3, wait for the Pixel 4 or getting the S9/Note 9/S10 on discount. Though I'll say the S10/Note 10 are actually leagues better than anything prior.

Stay away from Samsung. Once a year comes, your phone is pretty much useless. IPhone have been the most reliable. Though I am happy about my Google Pixel XL 2 it's still Google.

I have the Sony Xperia XZ2, not the newest phone. I really dig it, the screen is beautiful, the case is beautiful, the camera is great. It has a dual sim card slot (you can use one of the slots for an SD card), but the battery is "built-in" and it's kind of weak unfortunately. Also no headphone jack (I don't know why I completely overlooked this)

Lol, well OP asked for something not Samsung. My phone's been great to me, just lacking in the battery department. Also I didn't realize they make headphones with a USB plug I am so behind the curve.

One plus 7 pro is hundreds less than a note ten, with same specs, a better screen (90 hz refresh) and arguably the best optimized skinned Android on the market currently. The note has the s pen (some use it some never do) and probably a better camera. But throughout the past month I can say the camera has been performing pretty well on my one plus 7 pro, and I came from the pixel line, which has the best cameras out there.

Don't let the Samsung Fanny's fool you. The phone will break down and start rebooting randomly after a year and you'll have overheating issues. For a big name company, Samsung is the most unreliable out of the top 3 Apple and Google.

What are you even talking about I've literally only ever had that one Samsung phone. Before that it was HTC.
