South park airs on Wednesday night, and for the past several elections they have done special "election day" episodes.

In 2016, starting on the evening of election day, I went into a full internet and communication blackout. I shut off all contact with the world aside from my wife (who agreed to humor me). I unplugged my router, shut off my phone, and i waited for 24 hours. I refused to let the US presidential election spoil the next episode of south park for me. finding out if Mr Garrison was going to be president was more important.

it was a wonderful and surreal experience. not only do you spend 24 hours cutoff from all outside contact, but you sit there knowing that there is this gigantic piece of news that just about everybody in the world is aware of, while you remain willfully ignorant.

so if you are like me, and you havent seen a candidate you like since you reached the legal voting age, or if you just want to try something new and different, i would like to invite you to join me. and by join me i mean completely isolate yourself and not talk to me or anyone else.

huh? irritable? ive barely been posting, and aside from joining the occasional dogpile on nomak i havent posted anything overtly negative lately.
