I think Samuel L. Jackson is...but someone I know said there are no protagonists. Would you agree or disagree?

Was a solid movie.

Not one I would watch again unless on a huge display. I dont think my 26 inch did it justice.

Definitely Sam Jackson.

The two reading the letter at the end. The other guy couldve taken the deal, but he probably he wasnt going to live much longer.

I don't think it's as base as that. I think he was a lot more principled and dedicated to justice than any character in the film gave him credit. Even tho his personal beliefs served as a foil to Major Warren, they were on the same side, even before the major stopped him from drinking the poison.

Tremendous performance by Walton Goggins, such an expressive and nuanced actor. Did you watch the extended cut? I kinda liked the episodic format, really added to the already detailed narrative.

No I watched the theatrical. Is the extended worth watching now?

OB just wanted to be warm

Had to drive the carriage, put the horses away, and deal with the old dude. Just wanted a blanket and some coffee.

If you just watched it, I'd probably wait at least a few months. It's great, and I love all the extra little world building and character interactions, but it is a pretty hefty time investment at four 50 minute episodes.
