Its going to be a busy night. (Cook at jack in the box). He wanted me to come in from now until 10pm. I honestly had plans with my family tonight. And he wants me to come in on such short noitce. If he would have told me 2 days ago. Then yeah. I would have came in. I was scheduled off too.

If you normally come in on short notice I don't see why turning it down once would turn out badly for you. Just tell him you have plans with the family tonight. If he's a competent boss he'll understand. Plus no offense but it's fast food. Even if he were to get rid of you for this little transgression he'd be doing you a favor.
