i want to take a nice break, go somewhere for lunch, play on my phone, decompress, take a nice drive back to the office and not feel stressed lol

30 minute lunch is bullshit. It takes like 5-10 minutes to get near the food, order it another 5-10, eat really quick then run back to work.

Hour should be minimum.

meh i enjoy taking my time and dont hate it at work (yet). you'd hate it in some parts of europe where lunch is 4 hours lol

yeah but i'll throw in 10 minutes here and there and then take off early lol. sucky part is i don't know when the trucks are arriving since it's random so i may sit down and then get a call so i'll have to take care of it.

I get paid $800 a week regardless(I also handle shipping/invoices and payroll), I use a company credit card for business meetings and gas.

I take about 90 minutes but I eat and gym in that time. I'm not really on the clock tho so I take what I need.

I'm in a union and an unpaid hour break is the rule for 7 hour shifts. I usually end up taking a 15-30 minute nap in my car so I'm out of the building but I'd much rather just have a shorter break and go home earlier. I have zero need for an hour.

I need at least an hour. I've had coworkers get mad at me for not agreeing to a 30 minute lunch.

My work you have the choice of 1 hour or 30 minute lunches. I prefer 30 minute lunch because it doesn't take long for me to eat and I get off work that much earlier.

I've had jobs with 30 minute breaks and it did feel limited. Now it doesn't matter, I can take 30 minutes or three hours, no one cares. I get my work done.

Mine is like 10mins, but I work in a kitchen so we can just stop and snack anytime we want. It's a very chill and calm job

A few years ago I actually requested a 30 minute lunch break. I don't leave site or do errands or really eat lunch at all most days, so if I'm if not sitting on my butt in my office then I'm sitting on my butt ten feet over in the break room staring at the clock. I shudder to think how I would kill a full hour.

I think the policy where I work is something like a 15 minute break for every 4 hours worked in addition to the standard 30 minute lunch break. Therefore, everyone just takes a 45 minute lunch break. I've worked here for almost 3 years now and apparently the break time used to be 1 hour. Makes no difference to me because my prior job only gave us 30 minutes total.

The 45 minutes I get now is more than enough time for me to use the bathroom (if needed), eat something, and even do some walking all the way out to the parking garage to get the blood moving.
