I'm a huge Big G fan so this is an amazing release for me. Hopefully this means we will see Heisei and Millennium Era collections in the future (maybe they can be combined since they each have less than half the films of the Showa Era). I'm kinda shocked Criterion was able to secure all the rights to these films for this release.

Not all of the films have English dubs though. That's the trade off. From what I understand, it's only three films that are Japanese language only. I guess that's to be expected with as many distributors as Godzilla has had over the decades. Complete collections of foreign series are difficult as hell to accomplish.

But yeah, I'm hyped too.

Just looked it up. I thought that was going to be WAY more expensive.
