I have a great life that I'm fortunate for and after 2 years of working on self improvement I have reached a really positive headspace after falling on really hard times where I had a lot of suicidal ideation and depression for a span of 3 years. I feel like I have a lot to live for and there's a lot I want to do in my life. I'm scared of dying more than anything else these days.

Everyone's scared of dying. In your case, Id flip it around and use that as a reason to live life even more. You're in a great space, so keep it great while you can, ya know?

i'm glad all your hard work has paid off. you're a great guy, so i'm glad you were strong enough to work on your struggles even when you fell on hard times. i know sometimes it feels easier to give up but it takes courage to work on getting better

I feel ya. I definitely don't let my fear get in the way of my life and the things I want to do. It's just what comes to mind first when I think about my greatest fears. I suppose runner up would my anger issues flaring up in a public altercation and getting me into deep trouble. Or just failure in some sort that causes massive trouble and or disappointment to people who care about me.

Thank you that's really kind of you to say bro :) I'm pretty happy too and when the opportunity presents itself I try to share my wisdom when it's welcome. I couldn't have done it alone... there were times where things got pretty bad. But other kind hearted souls helped me set me straight. I'll give you an short but to me meaningful example but spare the gritty details: I had once gotten into a bad anxiety attack and started to self harm in public in the nation's capitol. I remember sitting on the sidewalk crying and a stranger walking by knelt down and said "are you alright brother? Whatever you're going through there's good people in this city who can help you and take care of you" he extended his own kindness and generosity and touched my heart. A complete stranger stopping to just even say something to someone having a meltdown in the dirty city street lol. I let him know I was thankful and he actually helped get me back to my senses and we parted ways with me back in a normal headspace. Left an impression on me and I try my best to try and extend a kind heart towards people in need when I notice it
