an older girl I had a crush on brought up that she would come to my prom with me out of the blue (she went to a different school), but I turned her down.

but that was mostly because I had mostly heard all these horror stories about how expensive it could be, and I was pretty cheap back then.

My high school had junior and senior proms, and I did not attend either.

And what did I miss out on? One friend that had a girlfriend but both had decided not to go. He ended up going last minute stag, intending to hang out with some other football friends or something. Went. Caught his girlfriend there with some other guy from school. Lost his mind and bashed in her vintage Camero's windshields with his tire iron in the parking lot. Arrested as he was actually 18. Drama. Never came back to school. Was the talk of the school the remainder of the year. Oh it was a shit show.
Thank god I wasn't there.

Damn, she must've been young when she had you. And you must've been a genius to get to high school that fast.

More on topic, no. Social stuff just isn't quite my thing, I got more enjoyment out of sitting at home and playing on my 3DS that night.

Well thankfully I've never seen a second of Glee in my life. But it happened. If it happened in a show 20 years later then good for it and feel free to believe I have so little to do in my life that I ripped off a plot of theirs to post on here.

Maybe her birthday is February 29th and so she only has a birthday once every 4 years, lol.

In all seriousness, I skipped prom too in high school. It wasn't my idea of fun, and I didn't have anyone to go with anyway.

I didnt go because I was broke and had to choose between prom and grad nite. I chose grad nite and I went to the after parties for prom.

I went as someone's date during jr hs. By the time my actual prom rolled around I was too cool for that kind of tomfoolery. I had board meetings and wine tastings to go to.

I never had a senior year (dropped out and took the piss-easy GED) so didn't even have the opportunity, but I still wouldn't have gone. Not my thing, not my scene.
