Poll of the Day > I recently started replaying Dark Souls 2. Love it!

I thought I had beaten the original on xbox360 when I was in college, but I was mistaken. I've had the Sotfs version on steam for quite a while, but never got through it. I never really that it was all that great until recently.

This game is fun! I'm kinda hooked on it now. I don't know why I was sorta put off by it at first, but this game is actually really freaking good. I used to think it was a good game, but not a good dark souls. Now, that opinion has changed.

I've also been playing nioh recently. It's fun, but doesn't scratch the dark souls itch. It honestly reminds me of ninja gaiden more than dark souls (not as over the top though).

DS2 usually takes the top of the list for most people, yeah? I've only ever really enjoyed Bloodborne, and even that was just because of the overworld and aesthetic. 50% of those bosses are absolutle horseshit in terms of good gameplay design. Anything ending in the term "-beast" needs to just be completely done away with IMO. Hmm, Cleric Beast was pretty dope, though I think it's just due to first boss impressions.

I've always heard peoplesay that they thought DS2 was the worst one. But looking on metacritic, it says that DS2 is the second highest scoring game in the series, only one point behind bloodborne.

The original releases of the entire series has gotten a score of 89or above, which is insanely impressive to me. The remasters/dlcs/re-releases have scored a bit lower.

I loved bloodborne, and I don't think I hated any of the bosses.

Least popular of the 3 but I found it the most replayable. Try getting close to the Desert Sorceresses (Fire ladies) in Mythras tower for a special surprise.

I don't understand the love for SotfS, it had all the same problems the first version had with it's bullshit enemy placement and terrible level design. It fixed none of the games most significant problems.

It's hated and for good reason.

It was my least favourite of the ones I have played. Which is to say out of all of them but ds3. 2 killed all interest in the series for me so i havent tried it.

Out of all games I think the dark souls series has the best medieval combat.
