Yeah, I'm gonna go full-on victim-blaming for this one.

First time: Completely stopped at a stop light for at least 10 seconds for an exit off the interstate. Other dude was traveling at at least 20 mph. Not my fault in any way.
Second: traffic was slowing down pretty hard, but I left space in front of me, the driver behind me just didn't leave enough space. This was the only one i was going faster than 10 mph, but i don't know what i could have done and insurance called it 100% the other drivers fault.
This time: traffic was heavy on a local street, we were going less than 10 mph and we're actually speeding up slowly. Nothing i could have done.

I'm just incredibly unlucky, and you can shut the fuck up.

I've seen a hit and run before. Dude pulley a uey and booked it. I stayed with the lady til the cops showed up and she kept me in the loop. Unfortunately for her (and a lot of victims) nothing really happens in hit and runs. Even with the description of the car and putting a bolo out if that person is connected and has buddies in the repair shop there are ways to avoid detection.
