Ok, it's a Sleep Number bed, so it's a lot better than a cheap air mattress.

I used one for a few years while moving a lot.Its best to get the expensive kind with reinforced stitching .

Super glued the hole and patched it with duct tape. Good as new. Until the next hole.

It was supposed to be a lot more temporary. Sold a house and crashing with family while looking for the next house. Moving in soon and buying a brand new bed and mattress and I'm gonna sleep for like a week straight

I've done that for over a year. Due to my situation, it was the best I had. Keeping a blanket of something underneath it to protect it helps. Regular stretching also helps. I hope your back feels better!
