the way "gamers" do now. half the kids these days dont know anything else but fortnite or just dance via twitch. then you got them girls tehe playing zelda and mario acting like they've been serious gamers all their lives. they couldnt survive in the black and white days. "gamers" these days can't name anything outside of halo. then you have the "look at them playing retro games! this is their life so cool! give praise!" when in the old days you got black listed by the same people that fortnite is now cool! lots of them dont know what is was like sacrifices were made lives were lost. shared intel at playgrounds now kids go "ehhh" at decent games. they dont know a good game if it bit them on the dick. "games not polished clunky controls the story isnt coherent!" you got nothing on arvs gen they were the heros and their sacrifice will not be forgotten or be tainted by you new gen

when it comes to your style reading what you wrote screams casual. you are really gonna attack arv then brag about owning nintendo and playstation 1 and 2. WOW you have a super nintendo! you sure do have a big dick! video games isnt just about playing whats good or playing the most popular consoles its trying conquering everything. sharing tips experience (its easy to find out if a game is good or not people don't need to be trolled.) with your brethren. not attacking your own kind. its not rpgs. but real gamers are dying as a whole it makes arv sick. its easy to tell a real from a faker. one day arv wishes to be friends where real gamers can rise up and stop these fakers from decaying everything

I'm not old enough to have been out when the atari came out, but it was my first system.

People have been complaining as long as there's been people. I know there's no way you're being serious, but still...As long as people have peopled, someone has complained about anything. x3

I sure remember that there was a lot of complaining about ET. I actually liked that game and played it so much I got good at it. x3

That and Pitfall were probably my faves, though the carnival shooting gallery one was neat. The Joust ostrich gives me nightmares to this day, I don't know why. *shudders*

Not that there's not a HUGE chunk of subjectiveness with games. Like some objectively are messes, but there's a lot of subjective in this too.

Oh also had a Bali, now that was a trip. 'Controller' being basically something to hold with a knob and the games looked like cassettes. Only had a very few games for that, and the games were basically the same crap re-skinned from what we had. Is that what you want? Just re-skinned games? I surely don't. lol

I still consider myself casual, even though I started gaming on Commodore 64. Just because I just play for the fun and dont spreadsheet my every button press. Im the kind who dies to the very first Goomba in every Mario game.

Gaming is supposed to be casual isn't it? As I got older I actually started making an effort to be more casual. That's part of the reason I banned myself looking at walkthroughs. Although I'm pretty die hard about it, which arguably isn't very casual. It would be more casual to not mind one way of the other.

I mean that older people were probably griping about how Sonic and Mario were for posers since they didn't play their classics, such as Pitfall.
