For some people, sure. I have no issue with hearing opinions that don't fit my mindset. I block people who are very simplistic and post in the same fashion over and over because what good do I get if they talk about the same 3 things in every thread?

I don't block people on here, i find it a bit silly. I will block "toxic" people on my social media because honestly im not on Facebook to read your rants about children these days or police being brutal or unfairly killed.

I tried out the block function just to see how it works and it's definitely not for me. It's too much.

I have a few accounts on ignore, mostly to remove their topics and not clutter the front page. If I see their posts in quotes it doesn't bother me.

I get that, if you don't want someone like duckbear filling up your front page that makes sense. I personally love watching the shit storms roll out in his topics. I think a large part of this is before I posted regularly I was a lurker extreme, so I don't want to miss the chance to see some stupid dialog play out.

Hyper sensitive millineals with zero coping skills. They think it's better to block everyone they disagree with, as opposed to working on getting that thick skin and letting bad words bounce of them like normal people.
