Amazons monopoly cannibalizes competition unlike Walmart. So even if you wanna buy from a small seller, theyll still often sell THROUGH Amazon. In your own town you can stop at another store, but other small shops online still sell their stuff on Amazon to survive. One guy at the local one here has worked their 16 years and has zero interest in finding work elsewhere. Then again after that long he is making considerably more than a new hire. As for me i like saving money. I could swing food lion and sometimes will if i want to be able to just grab one or two items and get out quick.
