and everyone has been losing their collective minds.

Luckily a wiki was made for us on how to use it, new rules of engagement, etc. I spent days in advance preparing for it, so I did ok with it.

Well I found a feature that will be very difficult on us to use. Without going into too much detail, its something that will just make our jobs harder.

So we had a meeting yesterday to discuss the new platform and this one chick was leading it. She is absolutely annoying af. Shes a lead but not my boss, but always in group chat bugging us with her daily reminders and treating us all like general children. I do my best to just ignore her.

Anyway, someone asked her about the feature I mentioned and she gave very incorrect information about it. So I spoke up and shared what I found about it. She proceeded to argue I was wrong. I demod it live for everyone (at her insistence) and she still proceeded to argue I was wrong. I showed her exactly what the message we get in the platform says, and it details what it does. She proceeds to argue it must not be every time we do that. I then shared the exact text in the wiki that explains it and says it is every time. She proceeded to say I misunderstood it.

Finally she asked the PM who was part of the launch and I was indeed right about it. She is now in group chat bitching to everyone to watch out for this and harping on everyone like it was her own discovery. And letting everyone know shes spent all day and night researching the platform and wiki.

Im beyond fucking annoyed with this chick

I know no one cares but I have to vent because Im so annoyed.

Basically after this woman spent so much time arguing with me about the feature, shes now all over group chat harping about being careful with it and acting like its her discovery.

Yesterday, I volunteered to demo what Ive learned to everyone on the sales team. My boss asked me to connect with a member of the other womans team because she also wanted to demo stuff and we didnt want to overlap.

So I synched with that girl and it was fine. We had different things to cover and agreed on it. She then asked me questions and asked me to share my screen and show her stuff, so I did.

Today we had the meeting and she started her demo first and literally stole most of my material. All the shit I taught her. She also brought up the other feature I discovered and claimed her boss is the one who found it. This girl was in the meeting where I brought it up and argued with her boss.

Im livid. I know sales is supposed to be cut throat but I guess I was lucky with my last company because we were smaller and the work environment was great. Im not about toxic work places and seriously reconsidering this job now.

Work sucks.

I really loved my old job. I just couldnt see growth because of my bosss favoritism games. Though I hear he has one foot out the door so who knows.

I hear ya. And thats one reason work sucks. I loved my last job as well, then all of a sudden management changed very quickly, and it became a whole new place and not for the better, so I left.

I loved my current job for several years, now things are changing and, well, not so good anymore.

I just cant justify sticking with corporate jobs for the long term since these changes are inevitable, and just when things start to gel the rug gets pulled out from under you and a great situation can become shitty quickly.
