Dead boards used to occasionally get hit by spambots with such in the past, but it no longer seems to be the case. It was great for porn and obscure software, but at the same time, nothing you couldn't find, if less frequently, on 4chan.
I don't know if you ever lurked 8chan's /pol/, but straight up, it was just had the worst content per post. Everything, every single thing on that board was dedicated to hatred, recruitment, and trying to incite people to violence. Shooters were icons to be revered. --- I exist, kind of.
