Why the fuck is Karin getting so much play and hate all of sudden now?

She looks like she's the same character she's been since release. Strong normals, decent damage and meter gain, relatively honest character. Same damn combos. Idgi.

People were complaining about the Karen mirror last month too, during a Grand Finals mirror iirc. I don't remember if that was Defend the North or something else though.

Capcom kept buffing her every season when she didn't need them. Karin wasn't seen as a threat until all the broken characters were nerfed, namely S1 Mika, S2 Balrog, and S3 Abigail. Now, Karin is the best S4 character with zero weaknesses and answers to everything.

Shiwapon(sp?) losing to a guy who switched to Amy in SCVI was a bit of an upset since he won the SCVI asia league iirc.

Karin isn't high execution, but she gets better the better you are at the neutral game.

As for announcements, Im expecting 2 characters, but I want 4 (Cassandra, Setsuka, Hwang, and Velvet Crowe from Tales of Berseria)

I'm expecting news on Cassandra and nothing else. I would LOVE a season 2 announcement or even just stages since there aren't enough to use all the SCII/III music I like. Still can't believe Linkorz got eliminated before top 8.

Jfc SCVI Winners Finals was amazing shit. Glad I tuned in to it.

Grand Finals started. Bluegod(Azwel) in Losers VS. Yuttoto(Voldo) on Winners side.

Seeing this Azwel is like anti climactic as fuck from a viewer perspective. Watching Yuttoto seem to do so much more work while Bluegod can just Weapon Arts for 30% damage is just not entertaining anymore.
