Tom Holland didn't even know Tony Stark's funeral was a thing until the movie came out. He though it was a wedding.

Brie Larson didn't even know she was in Endgame during filming.

Holy crap, how spoilerphobic can you get? You're probably stifling performances doing this.

They're probably contracted to the overall project rather than individual films.

Then it must not be very fun making those films. You just get told what to do for a particular scene and in no particular order, which can make them very random. And when you dont get the full understanding, you're not going to act to the best potential.

Hollands deal was 6 movies iirc and the Marvel/Sony deal was extended by 1 movie (to 6) because FFH eclipsed 1 billion.

Audiences didn't know about Shuri either, as it wasn't shown in the film, was it?

I'm not sure how much better the performances would've been. The main cast were already stellar as is (except for Brie Larson, she was passable at best). And it made for a cooler experience, not knowing what to expect from everything.

Well from what I understand in every previous story similar to this, there is a script, but the twists are written differently.

Only Mark Hammil knew the actual twist in ESB. All the other actors had a script where Vader claimed Obi Wan killed Lukes father

no joke but these days its legit CGI-ing/placing the actors face onto a stunt persons body or a cgi body

or just having an actor talking in front of a green screen and then in post placing that said actor in a scene with other actors

The actors themselves aren't CGI, that would be ridiculous. Though apparently the entire close-up in Infinity War where Tony suits up for the first time is CGI, including RDJ's face and hands. Pretty impressive.

I know sort of what you mean though. A lot of scenes are filmed out of context, whether it be CGI or green screens or other actors wearing motion capture suits or in the extreme case replacing faces. I'd be surprised if that's the norm though.

But I'll stand by the statement that the main cast all gave great performances, so I don't think it makes the movies worse. It just means that today's actors work differently than in the past, which has always been the case considering that the very first movies had no sound.

Renner's kind of known for not caring much about the MCU movies in general. He does his part and he does it well, but he's far from a fan of the films. At least that's what it seems like in interviews.

Also Infinity War and Endgame were filmed back-to-back, so I'm sure the actors forgot a lot of particular moments over the grueling process.

Yeah, but you'd think once he filmed both scenes it would click. WTF would there be a wedding?

Instead he didn't figure it out until he was watching the movie?

And if they filmed it as a wedding...why so sombre?

The whole story doesn't make sense, dude. I honestly don't believe Tom Holland is that dumb or somebody is conveying what he meant wrong cause being *that* in the dark would leave you with nothing to act on.

I'd be very surprised if Ruffalo was really fired. Despite what the Internet likes to think, he's one of the most popular remaining actors in the MCU.

He doesn't even seem to have a big spoiler problem. There was the interview about Infinity War where he said "hal - uh - everybody dies!", almost saying that half of everyone dies at the end. But other than that, there hasn't been anything, and Tom Holland has let slip many more things (like the title of Far From Home) over the years. Ruffalo did accidentally stream the audio for the first 10 minutes of Thor 3 at the premiere, but that was more of a technology thing than having a loose mouth.
