Board 8 > Moving tomorrow... sort of

I get my apartment tomorrow. I should really pack my stuff, but I'm having a lot of trouble cleaning up all of the garbage I've accumulated over the years (and by garbage I mean stuff I haven't touched in years, mail including credit card offers I needed to shred but never did, stuff like that).

I'd hoped to be completely moved by Monday. With all the stuff to go through, I'm not sure if that's even possible. It's a lot more tiring than I'd expected.

Im still working on moving. Ive got some essentials here, and my dad is helping me assemble furniture. Ive got to haul more stuff over and clean up the mess in my old room.

Moving sucks. At least you're not moving far, right?

Organizing stuff to move and discarding all the things you don't need is actually a very big job that takes hours and hours.

I always leave it to the last minute but it really does require some proper project planning to make it not a horrible experience.

So much left to do. I've got boxes that need to be gotten rid of, stuff at home that needs to be disposed of properly (some shredded, some donated, some thrown in the garbage), a dresser that isn't quite right (one drawer won't fit and the one next to it won't fit correctly)... need to assemble a chair and a desk in the spare bedroom so I can put my laptop on it...

This moving thing kind of sucks.
